April 29, 1940 — May 27, 2025

Medford, OR

William (Bill) Allen Robbins was a man who believed in sharing God’s love. He embodied the belief that “The purpose to human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others”. ~ Albert Schweitzer

Bill was a man of faith, integrity, and kindness. He cared about others and was always willing to help those in need. He was a devoted husband of 67 years to his wife Emma Jane Robbins, and a faithful father to his five children. He lived a life devoted to God, family, and community until May 27, 2025, when his journey here ended peacefully at his home in Medford Oregon.

Bill was born April 29, 1940 in Rich Hill Missouri to Delbert Harold Robbins Sr & Theda Louise Kiger Robbins. This is where he was raised on a family farm and later met the love of his life, Emma Jane Buhr. They were married on August 3, 1957. He started his family in Rich Hill Missouri, later moving to Wichita Kansas, and then Los Angeles California for employment opportunities. Being a lover of the outdoors, in 1965 Bill and his family moved to Medford Oregon where he enjoyed the great northwest for many years. After a few years of working in the wood industry, Bill worked in Law Enforcment as an Officer/Sergeant in Central Point Oregon for 12 years. He later worked for Bear Creek Corporation from which he retired in 2002.

Bill was not a man of many words, but anyone who knew him quickly understood his family and faith were at the center of his devotion. He was active in fellowship for many years at Living Praise Church and most recently at His Valley Church in Phoenix Oregon. Having a passion for the outdoors, he enjoyed numerous hunting, fishing and camping trips with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed wood working in his shop and took on projects for others who appreciated his skill.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Delbert Harold Robbins Jr, and his sister Linda Louise Connor Greene. He is survived by his wife, Emma Jane Robbins, his five children, all of the Rogue Valley Oregon; James Allen Robbins (Carol), Timothy Lee Robbins (Philena), Darlena Kay Vannier (Jim), Belinda Jane Robbins-Gagich (Wayne) and Karl Quintin Robbins; his brother, David Wayne Robbins (Lisa) of Central Point, Oregon; his sister, Carmen “Gayle” Robbins Torrez (Ron) of Belfair Washington, and 7 grandchildren, as well as 12 great grandchildren, all who meant the world to him. He will be greatly missed by his family, his church and many friends.

Bill will be interned in Memory Gardens Cemetery. We will celebrate his life on August 16th at 11:00 am at Path Church in Central Point Oregon. All who knew and loved Bill are welcome to attend the service which will be followed by a gathering with light refreshments and the sharing of memories.
