Sandra Angela Rollason

Sandra A. Rollason, lovingly known as Mombot, Momba, Gambot, Gramma, Gramma Sparkle, Gramma Thunder, and CG, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 62, at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Hospital after suffering a major brain aneurysm. Her sudden and unexpected passing has left her family heartbroken.

Born in Chula Vista, California, to Maria G. Cordero and Albert W. Thompson, Sandra was the sixth of nine children—and the first to be born in the United States. From the beginning, she carried a unique blend of strength, tenderness, and spirited joy that would define her life and the lives she touched.

Sandra was profoundly proud of her faith and her family. Her love for the Lord guided her, and her devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, and friends was unwavering. She was kind, deeply loving, and generous almost to a fault. She was brave, honest, and strong—someone who spoke truth with love, and someone you always knew where you stood with.

She found joy in cooking, traveling, singing, shopping, eating, and spending time with her family. She loved the ocean, loved treating her loved ones, and loved seeing others happy. Her laughter—bright, loud, and utterly infectious—was one of her greatest gifts to the world.

Sandra leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, faith, and devotion. She was a faithful follower of Christ, a loyal and devoted wife, mother, sibling, friend, and a fierce advocate for what was right, fair, and just. She was a lover, a fighter, a warrior, and a gentle nurturer—whatever her family needed, she became. She was their unsung hero, and she will be missed beyond measure but celebrated daily.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Rollason; her three sons: Elijah A. Rollason and his wife Ekaterina A. Rollason, PA‑C; Timmothy M. Rosenberg and his wife Sheila M. Rosenberg; and her youngest son, Joshua D. Rollason. And her mother-in-law Nancy Rollason.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren—Robert A. Doty (Elijah & Ekaterina), Devon Rosenberg, Quinton Rosenberg, Seth Rosenberg and Tysen Rosenberg (Tim & Sheila), Thomas J. Rollason, David Rollason, Danielle Rollason (Joshua), Kimber Traver, and James Traver—and one great‑grandchild Marcus Rosenberg (Devon Rosenberg).

Sandra is further survived by seven siblings: Dr. Joseph A. Cordero, Pastor Johnny C. Cordero, Kina Thompson, Mari Thompson, Lizabeth Nichols, Leslie Malbrough, and

Ceinwyn Hightower; as well as 15 nieces and nephews, and many great‑nieces, great‑nephews, and great‑great‑nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Albert W. Thompson, her mother Maria G. Cordero, her grandson Timmothy M. Rosenberg Jr., her younger brother Christopher J. Hightower and her father-in-law, Thomas F. Rollason.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, where Sandra will be laid to rest surrounded by her family.
