Roy Otto Schroeder

Roy O. Schroeder was born in 1939 in Medford Oregon to Fred and Leona Schroeder. He was a graduate of Medford High School in 1957. During the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Air Force for four years at Travis Air Force Base. After being discharged from the military he took up a career as a pipefitter. He retired from Timber Products after 29 years.

He married Deanne (Stewart) April 5, 1969, and they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. They built a home in Ruch that was his favorite place to be. He spent his retirement years enjoying nature and tinkering around his home.
Roy is survived by his wife, Deanne; his sons, Eric (Tami) and Brian (Natalie); his granddaughter, Allison; and his niece, Debra. Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ruth.

A private family service will be held at a later date. He will be interred at Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions in Roy's name may be made to the Southern Oregon Humane Society or ACCESS. Roy would have liked that very much.
