Robert Sydney “Bob” Huntwork, age 92, of Medford, Oregon, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026. He was born on October 30, 1933, in Mesa, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Elizabeth Rohrbough; his parents, Michael Forrest Huntwork and Doris Ivy Lillycrop; and his brothers, Bruce Leslie Huntwork, Michael Forrest Huntwork, and Clifford Ralph Huntwork.
He is survived by his children: Vickie Glauser, Lori Pinn, Marc Huntwork, and Ellie George; Steve Huntwork, Beverly Stafford and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, David Stephen Huntwork and Dawn Elizabeth St. Cyrr, as well as his brother- and sister-in-law, Joe and Cathy Porhammer.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Village at Valley View in Ashland, Oregon, for the excellent care they provided during his declining years.
During his childhood, the family lived in Pontiac, Michigan, before moving to Berkeley, California. Bob had a fine singing voice and sang in many choirs. He enjoyed writing poetry and even composed his own song. He owned several pest control businesses in both California and Oregon. One of his greatest passions was flying; he loved the sense of freedom it gave him and spent many hours in the sky.
Bob devoted his life to his Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
