Renee Helene Kirstein

With deepest sorrow and eternal love, we share the passing of Renee Helene Kirstein, beloved daughter, sister, and a beautiful radiant soul, who left this world far too soon on June 15, 2025.

Renee was born on December 23, 1998, to Diane Jaster and the late Gerald Kirstein (November 17, 1949 – May 12, 2022). She is survived by her devoted mother, Diane; and by her loving sisters, Leslie Kirstein and Sarah Morse. She leaves behind a circle of extended family and close friends who adored her.

Renee was a gifted singer and songwriter, Renee brought music to everything she touched. Whether singing original songs or reimagining well-loved covers, she made every performance her own.

She played the guitar with soul and skill, and her ukulele playing burned with spirit. Renee’s musical gifts were matched only by her compassion: she was deeply empathetic, always aware of the needs and feelings of others, and quick to offer help or comfort.

Though we now feel her absence as an immense ache, Renee’s presence will never leave us. Her music, her memory, and her fierce and tender love will live on in everyone she touched.
