Quanda Jeanne Edwards (Rutherford)

Quanda Jeanne Edwards, 79, of Central Point, Ore. joined her beloved husband in paradise Thursday, July 30, 2015. Quanda was born November 13, 1935 in Seagraves, Texas to Roy and Ada Belle Rutherford. She was proceeded in death by both of her parents and two brothers, Dick and George Rutherford. She is survived by her brother, Billly Claude (Virginia) Rutherford of Eagle Point, Ore.
Quanda married the love of the life, Bill Edwards, December 18, 1954 in Lovington, New Mexico. Together they had two wonderful daughters Toni Young and Sylvia (Paul) Blenkush, both of Medford, Ore. In addition to her brother and daughters, Quanda is also survived by her four grand-daughters, Casey Kelly, Erika Young, Catrina (Jamus) Quintana and Amanda (Kevin) Coelho, all of Medford. Her pride and joy, was her great-grandchildren, Aadyn, Andrew, Asher, Autumn, Grady, Dylan and Zoey.
The family would like to thank the amazing Hospice nurses, Oncologist Dr. Sandra Taylor and Visiting Angels for their generosity and compassion for our mother, grandmother, GG, sister, aunt and friend.
A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Butte Creek Baptist.
