Marjorie May Evans, 91, of Central Point, OR. passed Monday, Sept. 12, 2016. She was born July 23, 1925 in Gold Hill, OR to George Lester Smith and Eva Lou Dusenberry. In 1943 she married George Lester Evans who recently preceded her July. She was a lifetime Rogue Valley resident. She and George were foster parents to well over 100 local children. She enjoyed gardening. Marge was survived by four sons; Garry, Larry, Steven and Tom, a sister Geneva Goble, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at the Memory Gardens Chapel. 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, OR. She will be laid to rest beside George in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
