Marie Anthony (Heaton)

Marie Anthony , 81, of White City, Ore. passed away April 11, 2015 at Providence Hospital Medford, Ore. She was born August 6, 1933 in Batavia, Ark. to Ernie Ray and Minnie Lorena Heaton.
Marie married Harold Anthony in Beach, N.D. on January 9, 1951. They made their home for awhile in Merrill and lived in Prospect for a few years before moving and living in White City for 57 years. They had three children; Charles, Lyle, and Lorena.
Marie was always busy with sewing quilts, making handicrafts, and gardening. She was known for her large family dinners with southern cookng. She kept the books for her husband's log truck business and set up booths for holiday craft fairs. She attended West Main Church of Christ for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; a sister, Wanda Ray; children Charles, White City; Lyle (Judy), Klamath Falls; and Lorena (Sam Woods) Bandon; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held later when the many friends and relatives can gather.
