Mom's Eulogy.
"Mom is Love."
Mom passed in her 100th year. This is 2023, Mom was born in 1923.
Mom has spent nearly 100 years smiling at everyone. Mom smiled at people she knew and she smiled at people she didn't know.
Mom had three sons. I know she smiled at all our birth's and when we got our smiles. Mom is Love. Mom's smile is Love.
Mom smiled at play. She would play with us kids. Mom would teach me a little reading and a little arithmetic. Mom called it a trick. It must have been magic. It worked. I did good in reading and arithmetic. Mom showed me the trick. I did good. Mom smiled.
She taught me to smile. Mom taught me by doing and showing Mom taught me not to speak bad about anyone. by showing in her own deeds Mom taught me not to talk bad about anyone. What mom showed me worked I speak no evil to or about anyone. At least not where and when Mom could hear me.
Mom would laugh also Mom did not laugh at you. Even when she laughed at something I did. When she laughed. I laughed. I was not being laughed at. I was being laughed with.
Mom was a good wife. Mom moved with Dad wherever his need for new work would take him. Mom was a good wife, a good teacher and a great mother.
,Many hymns call going to heaven, going home. I say God. Mom says Lord. I pray Lord, when you take Mom home, give her love, give her a home. Let her be home with Dad, where she wiil live and Love forever. Amen
A Eulogy for Mom from Michael. November 28, 2023
