Lucy "Sybil" Coghill, 91, of Medford, Ore. passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at her home. She was born Oct. 1, 1923 in Wetumka, Okla. to George W. Phillips and Lizzie E. Petree. She came to the Rogue Valley in 1946 and in 1975 married Roy Coghill who preceded her in death in 1997. Lucy worked in the office of Pacific Power & Light Co. for 23 years. She enjoyed Toll painting.
Survivors include son, Wayne (Libby) Couch of Damascus, Ore; daughter, Barbara Lindsey of Riverbanks, Calif.; two step-daughters, Carol (Monte) Ray of Medford, Ore. and Nancy (Jack) Barrett of Talent, Ore.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren. Her step-son, Don Coghill, preceded her in death and Don's wife, Jan Coghill, survives.
