Lovejoy Elaine Ingle

“Joy” as she was called passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 93 in Prescott, Arizona. She was born April 23, 1932, in Portland Oregon to Oliver and Hazel Ingle. The Ingle family moved from Portland, Oregon to Bend, Oregon in 1945 where Joy graduated from high school. In her junior year of high school, she received an award for “Outstanding Sportsmanship and Athletic Ability.” The family moved from Bend, Oregon to Medford, Oregon in 1950 where Joy started working for the U.S. Bank and after 32 years of service she retired. Joy and her significant other, Raymond Teichrow, moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1993. Raymond passed away February 28, 2011, at the age of 84. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gaylee Oakes and brother, Angel Ingle. Joy is survived by niece Linda Oakes, Alice Kennedy and two grandnieces Jaydene Solorio and Whitney Kennedy and nephews Matthew Oakes, Alex Solorio and Romen Solorio. No services are planned in Prescott, Arizona. Interment will be in Medford, Oregon at Memory Gardens Memorial Park with a graveside service on August 22, 2025 at 12 noon.
