John Willis Hannah, 78, of Medford, OR passed unexpectedly Monday, July 25, 2016. He was born Feb. 6, 1938 in Memphis, TN to Samuel Glenn Hannah and Mary Margaret Whitten. John has been a Rogue Valley resident for nearly 40 years coming here from Coos Bay. He married Mary Louise Hannah who survives. John served honorably in the US Army. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Medford. He enjoyed his immaculate yard and his three dogs. Survivors include his wife Mary, three children; son Robin Hannah of Coos Bay, son Mark Hannah of North Bend and daughter Tracy Bonney of Medford, brothers Carl Hannah of Oklahoma and Tom Hannah of Medford, sister Bertha of Coos Bay, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, two sons Michael Lynn Hannah and Johnny Dale Hannah. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Medford 1st United Methodist Church, 607 W. Main St. He will be laid to rest beside his son Johnny Dale at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Oregon Humane Society.
