Janet Lynn Cofer-Donald, age 68, had her rite of passage peacefully, while at home, surrounded by family and close friends Saturday, October 31, 2015.
Born December 25, 1946 in Lawrence, Kansas, the eldest of eight, she spent her free time studying to become a professional ballet dancer. She graduated from Clayton Valley High School in Concord, Calif. Janet lived the last 30 years of her life in Southern Oregon. She obtained her Associates degree in 1993 from Rogue Community College, retired from Harry & David in 2009, and completed and graduated from the OSU Master Gardeners Course in 2010 as well as the Food Preservation Course in 2012,
Janet volunteered much of her time in service to others, offering her time and energy unconditionally. Janet was involved in book reading clubs, and was a very active member in her spiritual fellowship for 20-plus years. The spiritual life she led was a shining example to those she encountered.
Her hobbies included her gardens, crochet, wood working, baking, sewing, and being creative.
She is survived by her daughter, Ahndraya Lynn Bartolero; her son, Kevin Todd Wyrick; her granddaughter, Annette Rose-Lynn Wyrick; her separated husband, Richard T. Donald; and her many extended loving family, friends, and community.. Janet was preceded in death by her son, Warren Shawn Wyrick.
A memorial service will be held from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 3386 Bellinger Lane in Medford. All relatives and friends are invited. Memorial contributions are welcome and may be made to JPR: (541)552-6301
