Gerlev "Pete" Pedersen

Gerlev "Pete" Pedersen passed away on March 29, 2025. Born March 7, 1949, in Newman, California, he lived a full life marked by numerous associations, enduring connections and meaningful relationships.

Pete was the beloved husband of Tammy Herbers and together they created a happy home in Central Point, Oregon. Preceded in death, Pete was cherished by his parents Tage 'Ted' and Julia Pedersen. Pete leaves behind a daughter, Jennifer Bedoy and grandchildren, Austin and JJ of Norman, Oklahoma. He also shared a close bond with his sister Kris Kelley and brother-in-law Paul Kelley of Napa, California.

As a professional, Pete was responsible for ongoing inspections of new school construction in California. Pete loved all things racing related as well as the San Francisco 49'ers and the Golden State Warriors and was active in fantasy leagues. Just as much of a pastime, Pete would go out and find the latest model Ford that he could modify with aftermarket speed enhancements. Pete, like his father before him, never met a stranger. Throughout his life, Pete touched the hearts of those around him with his large personality and voice, filling every room he entered. He will be remembered with love and smiles of remembrance and respect by all who knew him.

While not wanting anyone to create a fuss, Pete would have loved to know all who remember and love him. He may not walk with us, but it's impossible not to remember and smile for all he was.
