Faye Lorene Kasper

Faye L. Kasper, age 83, passed away September 27, 2015, with her family by her side. Faye was born in Twin Falls, Idaho. She moved with her parents and siblings to Eureka, Calif. as a ninth grader and lived there until 2004 when she and her husband moved to Medford, Ore. to be close to their children.
At the age of 16 she began playing the piano for her church; she was a faithful pianist there for 60 years. She purchased her own piano at age 17, using the money she earned working at a department store. She gave piano lessons, taught Sunday school, worked in the banking industry, and all the while continued to serve others in every way possible.
She prepared countless meals for those in need. She loved entertaining her friends. She welcomed total strangers to her dinner table and the many friends of her children, making them feel a part of her family. She attended games, concerts, and anything her beloved grandchildren were involved in; they were the light of her life.
Faye is survived by her beloved husband Floyd Kasper; their four children, Calvin Kasper, Joyce Hanlin (Rod), Joni Toews (Dan) & Clifton Kasper (Barbara); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, La Donna; and her brother, Leonard.
The memorial service for Faye will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Apostolic Faith Church, 285 Sunrise Avenue, Medford, Ore. Private interment will be Monday, October 5, 2015 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Northridge Assisted Living for the amazing and loving care they gave to Faye, especially during her last days. We will be forever grateful. We are also thankful for the care provided by Signature Home Health Hospice.
Faye was a loving example to all who met her and will be greatly missed. The world was a better place with her in it. We loved her greatly.
