Elizabeth Nelson, 92, of Medford, Ore. passed away August 8, 2016 at Brookside Manor. She was born February 15, 1924 in Ansonia, Connecticut to Fred and Elizabeth Walker.
Elizabeth married Gottfred Nelson February 27, 1944 in Bend, Ore. shortly after her twentieth birthday. They moved to Medford in the 1980's. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to the beach, participating in her church, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Nick Nelson of Medford, Ore. and Heather Templeton of Central Point, Ore.; her sister, Arlene Jacobkovic; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gottfred Nelson in 2006.
Private family services will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park where she and Gottfred will be laid to rest together.
