Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away Monday, February 7, 2011, at age 97. Ethel was born on August 30, 1913, in Kalispel, Mont., to Ralph and Clara Kirkland. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ethel is survived by her son, Lloyd (Gilda) DeSimone; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and close friend, Laurie Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; and her eldest son, Fred.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, February 11, 2011, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Mausoleum.
