William "Bill" Henry (Davis) Rowe, 81, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on September 26, 2023, surrounded by his family. Bill was born on August 21, 1942, to William H. Rowe Sr. and Goldie May (Gray). He grew up in the Rogue Valley, graduating from Phoenix High School in 1961. After graduation, Bill married his high school sweetheart, Linda Carol Rowe; the couple had two daughters, Pamela Jean and Carolyn Kay.
Bill worked most of his life in the lumber industry and enjoyed many hobbies, such as woodworking, camping, singing, writing poetry, antiquing, and collecting and restoring clocks.
Bill is survived by his wife, Linda Carol Rowe and his daughters, Pamela Saxbury and Carolyn Nobriga; sons-in-law, John Saxbury and Junior Nobriga; sisters, Peggy Millard, Linda Kay Rowe, and Coreen Cline; sisters-in-law, Jan Davis and Nancy Goble; brothers, Mike and Pat Davis, brothers-in-law, Kenny Millard and Delbert Cline; his grandchildren Raymond Saxbury his wife Liz, Nicole Sylvester her husband Eric, Tyler Nobriga and Delanie Hanson and her husband Joe; his great-grandchildren Kurtis and Harper Saxbury, Allison and Parker Sylvester, and Austin, Sydney, Hazel, Julianna and Lennox Nobriga, and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William H. Rowe Sr.; mother, Goldie Volpi, her husband, Eldin; Stepfather, Lester Davis; his wife, Mildred; father-in-law, Wendel Goble, and his wife, Etoile Goble-Covey; stepbrother, Dwaine Davis; brothers-in-law: Ivan Goble and Dee Ide.
Bill's Celebration of Life will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Medford, Oregon, on October 16, 2023, at 1100 a.m. Reception to follow.
