Bernice Wolfe Stevens, 91 of Grants, Oregon passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Spring Point Assisted Living in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was born on August 6, 1922 in Westville, Indiana to Guy & Lillian (Allison) Wolfe.
Bernice graduated from high school and business college. She married Lewis Stevens in Waco, Texas on July 31, 1942. She worked as a bookkeeper and an office manager. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, reading and walking. Bernice and Lewis moved to the Rogue Valley in 1998.
She is survived by her daughters, Susie Sharpe & Pattie Campbell both of Rogue River, Ore. and eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis and her sister Martha.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Memory Gardens Mortuary & Memorial Park, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, OR. Pastor Mike Moore of Footscreek Chapel will be officiating. Bernice will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Memorial Park beside her husband, Lewis.
