Rose E. Davis

Rose E. Davis Rose E. Davis, age 95, of Jacksonville, OR, passed Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at her home. She was born July 9, 1917 in Newport, Prince Edward Island, Canada to Eugene and Catherine (McDonald) Delorie. In 1943 she married Darrell Eldon Davis who preceded her in 1991. Rose and Darrell were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an active volunteer in many church activities and was a 30-year member of the Providence Guild. She enjoyed walking daily throughout her life. Survivors include four children; sons Kevin Davis of Eugene, OR., Scott Davis of Alpharetta, GA., Frank Davis of Medford, OR., daughter Debi Kenworthy of West Linn, OR, two sisters Claire Murphy of Prince Edward Island, Canada and Norma Dutcher of San Diego, CA., 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Rose's family would like to thank the staff of Pioneer Village for their loving care and support. Rose was laid to rest beside Darrell in a private family ceremony at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford, OR. Public memorial services were held at 12:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Jacksonville, OR. with Fr. Kelly Vandehey officiating.
