Michele Marguerite Hassell

January 25, 1950 - February 3, 2022

Michele Marguerite Roberts Hassell passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on February 3, 2022, in Ashland Oregon. She was born to Pierre and Edith Roberts on January 25th, 1950 in Billings Montana. In 1960 she moved with her family to Ashland Oregon where she lived and went to school, graduating from Ashland High School in 1968 as Salutatorian. She met Alan Hassell of Ashland and they were married March 21, 1970. She received her Associates of Nursing in June of 1970. She resided in Provo Utah, Tuba City Arizona, Taipei Taiwan, Portland Oregon, Medford Oregon, and moved back to Ashland in 1991. She was a wife, nurse, mother, and Commander of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved and nurtured her family with everything she had. With the many challenges she faced she was an example of strength and love for those who knew her. She loved working on family history, shopping online for her grandchildren, and making sure each member of her family felt loved. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she volunteered and worshiped for most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Alan; siblings, Scot, Kathy, Kerry, Kristy, Patrice, Bub (John), Jack, and Phil; children, Jerilyn, Brett, Marla, Trina, Tiffany, Craig, Derek and Zach; 39 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, stepmother Mildred Roberts, and granddaughter Elizabeth Hamelin. Michele Roberts Hassell's memorial service will be on Saturday, February 12th at 11:00 AM at 111 Clay Street in Ashland.
